Inspired by Our Grandmothers
The Legendary Connection was born from a simple truth we both experienced as kids: the stories we heard from our grandmothers were unforgettable.
We're Jen and Erin, two moms, long-time friends, and now, the creators of The Legendary Connection. But long before we had children of our own, we were wide-eyed kids listening to our grandmothers spin tales about mythical creatures and family legends. They became the moments that shaped our lives.
It was through their voices that we first understood the power of storytelling… not just to entertain, but to teach, connect, and comfort. Those early memories stayed with us, shaping how we now raise our own families.
As adults, we returned to storytelling not as nostalgia, but as a parenting tool. And what we found was transformational. Stories helped us connect with our kids, teach values, spark imagination, and build the kind of relationships that last a lifetime. Just like our grandmothers once did for us.
Now, we’re sharing what worked in our homes, and honoring the legacy of the women who inspired it, by helping other families do the same.
